KC Daya

KC Daya leads the firm’s private equity division and is at the forefront of driving growth across the entire enterprise. Transitioning from several years in the tech industry to over two decades in commercial real estate investment, KC has cultivated a diversified career covering acquisitions, asset management, development and capital structuring across major North American markets.
Prior to Clifton Blake, KC worked within the acquisition and asset management groups at Morguard Investments and Brookfield. KC earned an MBA in Real Estate Finance and Strategic Management from the Schulich School of Business and a B.Sc. from McGill University. He is an Old Boy from Upper Canada College and is the Canadian Regional Champion for YPO Real Estate Network.
Wes Myles
President & Chief Investment Officer

Wes Myles has over 35 years of experience in commercial real estate, construction and development both in Private Equity and the REIT Markets across all asset classes. He has held senior positions with KPMG Real Estate Advisory, Slate Properties, (Blackstone Equity), General Electric, Law Development Group and Equity Commercial Builders working across all functional areas.
Wes is a graduate of the AMDP Program, Harvard University, has completed a Post-MBA, Advanced Management, Real Estate and Infrastructure Investment and an MBA in International Finance, Economics and Strategic Management, both from the Schulich School of Business.
Gaetano Coscia
Partner
Gaetano Coscia is a Partner at Clifton Blake, where he plays a pivotal role in advancing the firm’s private commercial mortgage lending business. With over 25 years of experience in conventional commercial and real estate finance, Gaetano made a notable shift to the alternative real estate lending market 15 years ago, where he was instrumental in originating and structuring commercial real estate debt transactions for one of Canada’s largest private lenders. At Clifton Blake, he manages the mortgage fund strategy and oversees all facets of origination, underwriting, and structuring. He ensures the execution of financing solutions is optimized for success. Gaetano holds a B.A. in Economics.

Peter Sharpe

Peter retired from the Cadillac Fairview Corporation after a 26-year career, including 11 years as President and CEO, during which time he expanded the real estate investment platform beyond North America into the United Kingdom and South America. Peter contributes institutional real estate experience and a strong governance function that has helped bolster this company into a lasting organization.
Dr. Sidney Zucker
Chair, Mortgage Fund, Trustee
Since 2015, Dr. Sidney Zucker has been the Chairman of the Clifton Blake Mortgage Fund. Prior to that, he owned and operated one of the largest and most successful dental practices in Canada, which he started in 1979 and eventually sold to private equity. Dr. Zucker has been an active investor in multifamily apartments and private real estate credit for decades and carries a wealth of experience and knowledge in these two arenas.
Patrick Brigham
Advisor, Trustee
Patrick was previously the President of Sunquest Vacations which he founded in 1972. Sunquest became Canada’s leading tour operator, launching countless international destinations for Canadians and was eventually sold to a global competitor. Since then, Patrick has served on a number of Boards and has been an active investor in several notable private enterprises. Undoubtedly, Patrick’s greatest asset is his network of deep relationships.
Byron Messier
Advisor, Trustee
Byron was President and CEO of Continental Insurance Company in the early 1990s when the company was acquired by Fairfax Financial Holdings and renamed Lombard General Insurance Company. He continued to serve as President and CEO of Lombard Insurance until 2003. Byron went on to be Managing Partner of Forstar Capital Ltd., a Toronto based private equity company for the next 20 years.
